How do I make Jesus my Lord & Savior?
It's simple! In faith, believe that Jesus:
If you believe all that, in faith, then simply ask Jesus to come into your heart & life to be your Lord & Savior ... that's all there is to it. You can't have done anything that He's not already paid for. Accept His free gift, He paid your penalty for you over 2,000 years ago!
Hbr 11:6
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
When you pray, do it from your heart, confess your sins out loud with your mouth, ask Jesus into your heart & life and from that moment on you will be part of the kingdom of God and your eternal destiny (after this life is over) is heaven!
Rom 10:9-10, 13
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Find a good bible believing church and attend faithfully. Get baptized (full immersion, not sprinkling). Read your bible, it IS the inspired, written word of God and it's how we get to know Him. Pray, this is how we communicate with Him! Strive daily to seek God and He will draw close to you. Don't neglect Him! Remember, He paid an aweful price for your sins, and He is your Redeemer, Lord & Savior ... you owe Him EVERYTHING!
God doesn't force us to change but those of us that truly love Him work to grow in Him daily, whereby we are changed from the INSIDE out because we want to be more like Him. You could do yourself no greater favor my friend. Your eternity depends on this most critical decision. This choice is a life changer but well worth it I assure you! Then know this, not choosing God (and Jesus, His Son) means that you have chosen satan (the soon to be dethroned god of this world) ...
2Cr 4:3-4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
If you are truly seeking TRUTH, please, ask the Lord to show you ... He will, but you must ask! Read some of the passage links here, read the Gospel of John with an open heart, read the Book of Acts with an open heart (you can access the entire bible online from the BLB link above). Just say, "God/Jesus, if you are real ... show me!", mean it with your heart and He will indeed show you as He has done for me & countless others.
Please consider where you will spend eternity! God IS Love, you CAN trust Him!
