Welcome to The Lamb's Wife blog!

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." -Rev 19:7 KJV ... .:: THAT PROPHET ::.

* MOSES PROPHESIED ...
{Deu 18:15-16 KJV} The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;  According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

* JESUS FULFILLED ...
{Act 3:18-21 KJV} But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;  And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:  Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
{Act 3:22-26 KJV} For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.  And it shall come to pass, [that] every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.  Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.  Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed {Jesus} shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.  Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

{Act 7:37 KJV} This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

.:: THE PROPHET DANIEL ::.
{Dan 9:24-27 KJV} Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.  Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah {Jesus} be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come {Rome} shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; {Jerusalem & the Temple in 70 AD} and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. {THE Messiah was to come BEFORE the Temple would be destroyed.}

.:: THE PROPHET ISAIAH ::.
{Isa 22:20-25 KJV} And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:  And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.  And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall openAnd I will fasten him [as] a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.  And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.  In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that [was] upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken [it]. {Eliakim was a *type* or foreshadowing of Jesus.}

{Isa 53:1-12 KJV} Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire himHe is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouthHe was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. {Thank You Jesus!}

.:: THE PROPHET JEREMIAH ::.
{Jer 11:19-20 KJV} But I [was] like a lamb [or] an ox [that] is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.  But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. {Jesus, the Lamb of God, that takes away the sins of the world.}

.:: KING DAVID ::.
{Psa 2:1-12 KJV} Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.  Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

{Psa 22:1-31 KJV} [[To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.]] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?  O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.  But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.  Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.  They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.  But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.  All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],  He trusted on the LORD [that] he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.  But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts.  I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother's belly.  Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help.  Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round.  They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.  I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.  My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.  For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.  I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me.  They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.  But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.  Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.  Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.  I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.  Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.  For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.  My praise [shall be] of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.  All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.  For the kingdom [is] the LORD'S: and he [is] the governor among the nations.  All [they that be] fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.  A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generationThey shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [this]. {Jesus, at the drawing of His last breath, was trying to tell those that would hear that He was fulfilling Psalm 22 at that very moment! NEVER ...at any nano second... did God leave Him.}

.:: JESUS {YESHUA}: THE SON OF GOD ::.
~ Jesus fulfilled all of these prophecies ~

{Mar 15:25-33 KJV} And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.  And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.  And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.  And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.  And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days,  Save thyself, and come down from the cross.  Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.  Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.  And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. {The Temple that Jesus was speaking of was His own body that He resurrected the third day after His death.}
{Mar 15:34-37 KJV} And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?  And some of them that stood by, when they heard [it], said, Behold, he calleth Elias {Elijah}.  And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.  And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

{Mar 15:38-39 KJV} And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottomAnd when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
{Mar 15:42-43 KJV} And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,  Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.

{Luk 24:44 KJV} And he said unto them, These [are] the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me.

.:: SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND ::.
* DAVID PROPHESIED ...
{Psa 110:1 KJV} [[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

* JESUS FULFILLED ...
~ the witnesses testify, including Jesus Himself ~

{Mat 22:41-46 KJV} While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,  Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The Son] of David.  He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,  The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?  If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?  And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man] from that day forth ask him any more [questions].

{Mar 12:35-37 KJV} And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of DavidFor David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.  David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he [then] his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

{Luk 20:41 KJV} And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?  And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,  Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.  David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?

{Luk 22:66-71 KJV} And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,   Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:  And if I also ask [you], ye will not answer me, nor let [me] go.  Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.  Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.  And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

.:: OF THE LAST DAYS ::.
~ known as "the times of the Gentiles" ~

{Joe 2:28-32 KJV} And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.  And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.  And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

{Act 2:1-13 KJV} And when the day of Pentecost {Shavuot} was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.  And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.  Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.  And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?  And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,   Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,  Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.  And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?  Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
{Act 2:14-21 KJV} But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:  For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet JoelAnd it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:  And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:  And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
{Act 2:22-28 KJV} Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.  For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:  Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:  Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
{Act 2:29-47 KJV} Men [and] brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.  Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;  He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.  This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnessesTherefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,  Until I make thy foes thy footstool.  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.  Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.    And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.  And all that believed were together, and had all things common;  And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

{Heb 1:13 KJV} But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

.:: DID JESUS CLAIM TO BE THE SON OF GOD? ::.
{Jhn 10:22-23 KJV} And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.  And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. {"feast of the dedication" = Hanukkah}
{Jhn 10:24-30 KJV} Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.  Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.  But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.  My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.  I and [my] Father are one.
{Jhn 10:31-35 KJV} Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.  Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?  The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.  Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?  If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
{Jhn 10:36-38 KJV} Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?  If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.  But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father [is] in me, and I in him.

.:: THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE ::.
* DAVID PROPHESIED ...
{Psa 2:7 KJV} I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

* JESUS FULFILLED ...
~ the witnesses testify ~

{Mat 3:13-17 KJV} Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.  But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?  And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. {"Suffer" here means to let or allow; and "suffered" means he let or allowed.}

{Mar 1:9-11 KJV} And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:  And there came a voice from heaven, [saying], Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

{Luk 3:21-22 KJV} Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,  And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

{Jhn 1:29-36 KJV} The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.  And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.  Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;  And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

{Act 13:33 KJV} God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

{Heb 1:5 KJV} For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

{Heb 5:5 KJV} So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

{Jhn 3:1-3 KJV} There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
{Jhn 3:4-8 KJV} Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
{Jhn 3:9-13 KJV} Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things?  And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.{Jhn 3:14-17 KJV} And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
{Jhn 3:18-21 KJV} He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

.:: JOHN THE BAPTIST ::.
~ the predestined forerunner, messenger, & first witness of the Son of God ~

{Mal 4:5-6 KJV} Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. {The great and dreadful "day of the Lord" was the destruction of the temple in 70 AD.}

{Jhn 3:22-26 KJV} After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.  And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.  For John was not yet cast into prison.  Then there arose a question between [some] of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.  And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all [men] come to him.
{Jhn 3:27-32 KJV} John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.  Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before himHe that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.  He must increase, but I [must] decrease.  He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above allAnd what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
{Jhn 3:33-36 KJV} He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.  For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him].  The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

~ Jesus testifies, & witnesses of John the Baptist as coming in the spirit of Elijah ~

{Mat 11:7-15 KJV} And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?  But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft [clothing] are in kings' houses.  But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.  For this is [he], of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.  For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.  And if ye will receive [it], this is Elias, which was for to come.  He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

.:: THE SEAL OF GOD: THE HOLY SPIRIT {GHOST} ::.
~ given freely to everyone that confesses Jesus {Yeshua} as their Lord & Savior, with repentence of sins ~

{2Co 1:21-22 KJV} Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God;  Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

{Eph 1:1-14 KJV} Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:  Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.  Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  {Jesus} In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times {the times of the Gentiles} he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.  In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

{Eph 4:30 KJV} And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

.:: THE KEY OF DAVID TO OPEN & SHUT ::.
{Luk 13:22-28 KJV} And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.  Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:  Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.  But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity.  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out.
{Luk 13:29-30 KJV} And they shall come from the east, and [from] the west, and from the north, and [from] the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.  And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
{Luk 13:31-35 KJV} The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.  And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third [day] I shall be perfected.  Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the [day] following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not!  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until [the time] come when ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

{Rev 3:7-8 KJV} And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;  I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

.:: THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES ::.
~ from the time of Jesus until now, rapidly coming to a close ~

{Luk 21:20-28 KJV} And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.  And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;  Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. {This prophecy is thought to have a dual fulfillment: the first was in 70AD when the Romans destroyed the temple, sacked Jerusalem, and sent the Jews into exile worldwide; the second fulfillment will come about for the same reason as the first ... spiritual adultery and idolatry ... I believe this is coming sooner than later.}

~ ISRAEL & JUDAH: HERE IS YOUR SIGN ~

{Luk 21:29-33 KJV} And he {Jesus/Yeshua} spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;  When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.  So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. {The "fig tree"=Israel/Jerusalem, "all the trees"=nations, "shoot forth"=mature or come to the place where the time for the prophecy is fulfilled, which (I believe) began: 1947-1948 when Israel is declared a nation, and 1967-1968 when Jerusalem is back in Israeli control ... THESE ARE THE *SIGNS* CHRISTIANS ARE WATCHING, YOU ARE THE SIGN! See also: Mat 24-25, Mar 13, Luk 17, Luk 21.}

{1Co 1:22-25 KJV} For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;  But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.  Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

08/26/16 ~ Six Days ...

The first book of Moses, called GENESIS (aka: The Book of Beginnings)

{Exo 20:11 KJV} For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

{Exo 31:17 KJV} It [is] a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

The books of Genesis and Exodus were among those written by Moses and it is from him that we get the account of the creation week. Was Moses a liar? Perhaps he was senile? Did he put down days when he meant to put thousands, millions or even billions of years? NO!!! to all of the above, I remind you that these were the very books Jesus learned from! Here are my thoughts on the creation week (six days) -vs- science's *billions of years* and to all those people out there in la la land that tout science over the bible ...

Anyone that contradicts what God's word says is doctrinally wrong, such as naturalists Hugh Ross, or John Ankerberg, to name just two of many. The bible says God created it all in six days and I choose to believe God's word over that of man. Even if a day equals 1,000 years as stated by Peter (2Pe 3:8) that would be at most 6,000 years for creation, not millions or billions. But I know that God did do it ... in just six days ... because the bible tells me so.

It worries me when people like Hugh Ross & John Ankerberg try to fit *science* into their theology rather than conform their theology to the bible. So it is, most people would rather believe other people than God's written words. Or, some people feel they have to be able to *explain* how it all went down so they try to prove even biblical statements by what they can see in *nature*, as though God is not supernatural (above nature and the Creator of it).

Jesus depended on the bible. His bible (Torah) was made up of the first five books of Moses (known as the Law), the prophets, and the Psalms, and Proverbs. Being taught from those, He never once gave any speech that the words of the bible, or in particular the words of Moses, were not accurate. As a matter of fact He {Jesus} said, "For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me." {Jhn 5:46 KJV} Nor did He say that our account of creation being a literal six days was wrong. If Moses was in any way wrong about Genesis or any other book of the OT then Jesus would have surely corrected the matter, just like He was constantly correcting the incorrect theology of the scribes and pharisees.

In a nutshell, if you can't trust the first book of the bible (Genesis), nor the second (Exodus) to be accurate then you can't trust any of the bible. And *science* tries to constantly disproved God, therefore it is *science* that is wrong, not God's word. They, science, and even those that profess themselves to be Christians, are mistaken when they think that *science* and the bible have to agree or that the bible is inaccurate if science doesn't agree. People need to take God out of their naturalistic view and let Him be God. He doesn't always do things using nature, sometimes He just does stuff out of thin air making the invisible, visible ... just by speaking a word. If God can create by speaking alone -the whole universe, a world with planets nearby and living beings in just six days- then He can do a lot more than science will ever give Him credit for. Beware of what you follow as *truth* ... if what you believe clashes with the bible then what you believe is wrong, no matter the source.

God created everything we know and all that we don't know by speaking those things into existence, as the bible states! He didn't need *nature's* help to do so because nature (all things mortal/natural) was part of that yet to be created ...

{Gen 1:1-2 KJV} In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

DAY 1: {Gen 1:3 KJV} And God said ...

DAY 2: {Gen 1:6 KJV} And God said ...

DAY 3: {Gen 1:9 KJV} And God said ...

--------- {Gen 1:11 KJV} And God said ...

DAY 4: {Gen 1:14 KJV} And God said ...

DAY 5: {Gen 1:20 KJV} And God said ...

DAY 6: {Gen 1:24 KJV} And God said ...

--------- {Gen 1:26 KJV} And God said ...

--------- {Gen 1:29 KJV} And God said ...
DAY 7: {Gen 2:1-3 KJV} Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Now, you tell me ... when God spoke these things, did it happen immediately? Or did it take thousands, millions, or billions of years for the commands to be obeyed? The bible says creation obeys God, it is mankind that does not. I think Job 38-41 {https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/job/38/1/s_474001 KJV} adequately answers -IN THE LORD's OWN WORDS- man's thoughts and ideas about what He can or cannot do. And besides these, God commanded ...

{Gen 1:7 KJV} ... and it was so.
{Gen 1:9 KJV} ... and it was so.
{Gen 1:11 KJV} ... and it was so.
{Gen 1:15 KJV} ... and it was so.
{Gen 1:24 KJV} ... and it was so.
{Gen 1:30 KJV} ... and it was so.

{Luk 18:27 KJV} And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. {"he" is Jesus, Who was in the beginning with God creating all things! Jhn 1}

People that try to explain God's creation in terms of *nature* likewise refute that God made the earth FIRST and didn't make the sun and the moon until the FOURTH DAY. This means the earth is the center of God's focus and the earth was around before the sun & moon were. The earth did not rely on the sun, nor moon, as they were created after it. Science surely doesn't like that and neither do the naturalists! They also refute that God caused the plagues of Moses' day ... before he lead Israel out of the bondage of Egypt ... as though God cannot act without doing so through nature. Yes, He used nature but I don't believe there's biblical evidence that the first plague caused the second, and the second caused the third and so on ... this is man's attempt to credit natural process instead of God's divine commands. Each command was separate, not a compilation or result of the one before it. Just like God caused quail to come up DAILY (not just once) to feed the people in the wilderness. In my opinion that was a creative daily miracle for 40 years not the natural result of too many quail in the land. Likewise, for forty years God preserved the clothing & shoes of millions of people {Deu 29:5}, they did not wear out after all that wandering! I believe when we try to explain away the miraculous with natural ideals we take away from the mighty God and give to humanistic naturalism.

I am also told by some that there's a *gap* between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. I do not see said *gap* ... which according to some could be thousands or even billions of years. I see that Gen 1 is an overall review of creation, including the creation of man, whereas Gen 2 focuses more on man's creation and what happened to Adam & Eve as they fell from grace. Argue as you may, I will continue to disagree. If you say there's a *gap* between when God made all things (and that likely means you think He made it all in millions or billions of years) then you would be saying that in order for Gen 2 to pick up the story of Adam & Eve they would also have to be millions or billions of years old. This cannot be, as both of them died before their 'first day' (one thousand years) ended. They were created to live forever in a sinless state so one day for them was as a thousand years. After the great flood of Noah's day mankind's lifespan diminished gradually to our mere 70-120 years of today; and that (our comparatively early death) is due to our ever increasing sins, wars, diseases, etc.

I believe the bible is 100% accurate just as it is and we don't need to insert any man-made beliefs to understand it. If you think that God can't do anything without doing things through *nature* then you are mistaken because there was NO nature when God created all by speaking it. He's God, He can do what He pleases with NO HELP at all from *nature*.

Beware of what you read or watch because the resulting belief, if it contradicts what God has documented in His word, is meant to lead you astray. This means you believe man's *science* over God's written word. As for me, I proclaim that God's word is truth, in it's entirety.

{Psa 119:11 KJV} Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

{Jhn 17:17 KJV} Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. -Jesus

As a brief side note, my husband points out that Gen 2:2-3 states that the sabbath was made for all mankind, not just the Jews/Israelites as we see in Exo 20. I wholeheartedly concur. We do, to the best of our ability, observe the sabbath ... even though we are "Gentiles" and living in the "the times of the Gentiles". I have written extensively about how the sabbath is just as valid for us today because it's one of the 10 commandments that we're all to obey. For the sabbath, the command is to: 1) remember it, 2) to keep it holy, and 3) do no work (rather, rest) ... knowing that if we fail as with any sin, and repent, we have an advocate {Jesus} with the Father {1Jo 2}. Here's a link to the search keyword "sabbath" for articles I've done that include that subject http://thelambswife.blogspot.com/search?q=sabbath

I appreciate my husband's critiquing!

08/07/16 ~ Seedtime & harvest ...

Noting the times, and the season in which we live today, I feel it's interesting to give some thought on how much Jesus {Yeshua} spoke about seeds and sowing, harvests and reaping. I won't quote all of the scriptures but I will link to them for you to peruse on your own. Jesus put forth much about sowing and reaping, if the topics were that important to Him they should likewise be that important to us!

I believe the Lord is coming back for His church (ready virgins, bride, see Mat 25) ... likely this Tu B'Av (15th of Av on the Hebrew/Jewish calendar), which, this year, falls from sunset to sunset (Jerusalem time) on August 18-19 ...OR... some Tu B'Av in the near future. I believe Jesus will appear in the clouds and send His angels to gather His elect from the four corners of the world ... the greatest end-of-summer harvest in HIS-story.

{Gen 8:22 KJV} While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

I'm not dogmatic about this timing (ex: this end-of-summer harvest, Tu B'Av) as being a resurrection of the saints event but it seems to make the most sense to me! Even so, this year or one future, Maranatha Lord!

I'll leave it to you to deduce the time, and if we are near the great harvest of souls or not ;o} Thanks for reading! God bless you in Jesus, I pray we meet in the air soon ;o}
