10/20/17 ~ The voices of warning ...
"And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." -Jesus {Mark 13:37 KJV}
So, with that said ... I find that many people *miss* the purpose of the prophet/watcher (I prefer to call myself a Porter, see linked article below); whether from the OT, or the NT, or even today. Prophets have always been those that warn of impending destruction if those they are sent to don't turn from their ungodly, wicked ways. If they do repent then what the prophets said would not come to pass at that time (but surely would in a future day, more on this below).
Jonah is an example of a prophet prophesying for which the people took him seriously and repented and God's judgment (which at that time would have been imminent) was stayed {postponed}, for a time ... it did fall on that city and nation later when they once again fell into wickedness. Jonah was quite upset but God has sovereignty over all things. Jonah was sent to warn, not to sit and watch judgment fall. God doesn't want that any should perish ...
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." {2 Peter 3:9 KJV, God has been 2,000+ years worth of patient ... sit and think about that for a few minutes!}
... and if enough people turn away from their wicked ways He is merciful and will turn from His judgment, and many times He leaves a blessing, as He's promised.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." {2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV}
"Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul." {Ezekiel 3:19 KJV}
"But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die." {Ezekiel 18:21 KJV}
"Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. ... Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? ... Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; ... But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby." {Ezekiel 33:9, 11, 14, 19 KJV}
God does, in His compassion, change His mind. So, don't shoot the messengers (see link below) if things don't come to pass ... they surely will come to pass at some point in the future because mankind's heart is evil continually, and has been from the beginning.
"And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually." {Genesis 6:5 KJV}
Let us NOT forget, Jesus prophesied of the complete and total destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, yet it didn't happen until 40 years after His death & resurrection. Why? Because of God's grace, and the bible prophesied that "it was accounted to Him for a generation" (70 years), which is the “days of one king” (in this case the King is Jesus) ...
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot." {Isaiah 23:15 KJV, king David died at the age of 70, so he is the example.}
I believe this is also a soon coming prophecy regarding Jerusalem {Tyre} and her seventy years from 1947/48 to 2017/18, after the church (ready bride) is taken out, who will Israel have to turn to then? She shall sing as a harlot (go into idolatry), but I have already covered this in a previous TLW Blog post, here's that link ... http://thelambswife.blogspot.com/2016/12/120516-where-is-that-great-city.html
"A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation." {Psalm 22:30 KJV, “a seed” is Jesus, Who is serving the Father. Even tho Jesus died young, that generation of a full 70 years of what should have been His lifespan was accounted to Him ... in other words, because Jesus walked among us in His day, a whole generation was spared God’s wrath for an additional 40 years after His death & resurrection. That is grace.}
To summarize: Jesus' ministry began when He was about 30 years old, then 40 years later (in 70 AD) the temple was destroyed and Jerusalem was sacked, and the Jews were dispersed into the nations for their idolatry (harlotry against God).
"But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods." {Jeremiah 44:5 KJV}
Don't be fooled. Just because something doesn't happen as hoped or expected doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Perhaps enough of the church has awakened and so God is waiting yet a little while.
It’s only because of God’s love and compassion for His creation that we even live and move and have our being. Our very breath is a gift, water is a gift, food is a gift, all good things come from the hand of God. You receive many gifts daily for which you likely don’t even give thanks for much of it.
"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." {Acts 17:28 KJV, the writer here, believed to be Luke, is talking to fellow believers and it is they who are "also his offspring", the children of God who have accepted Jesus as their Savior.}
"[There is] nothing better for a man, [than] that he should eat and drink, and [that] he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it [was] from the hand of God." {Ecclesiastes 2:24 KJV}
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." {James 1:17 KJV}
"Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" -Jesus {Matthew 7:9-11 KJV}
Notice, those that give their lives to God are His children ... NOT those that don’t. We are all creations of God, but we are NOT all children of God. That is done by the process of repentance, confession of sins, and turning to God from your heart (not just your head), through His Son, Jesus (Yeshua) as your sole/soul Provider. Those that don’t are lost and have no future with God but rather, as per their own wish, they are separated from all His goodness for all of eternity.
"The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, [and] seek God." {Psalm 14:2 KJV}
Unbelievers, you must understand this. You are NOT one of God’s children until you: 1) repent of your sins against Him {look over the 10 commandments and compare your life and deeds to those: have you ever lied, stolen, cheated, etc ... be honest ... you are only deceiving yourselves if you deny you are guilty of many sins}; and 2) you turn {walk away from} from your sins; and 3) ask Jesus into your heart & life to be your personal Lord & Savior; and 4) confess He is the Son of God come in the flesh. Understand this, once you truly repent and cry out to God for forgiveness, then and only then do you receive His seal of adoption, that is, the Holy Spirit that will come and live inside of you.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together." {Romans 8:14-17 KJV}
This is how God will take His own at the resurrection of the saints (aka: rapture). Those with His seal, the Holy Spirit, will vanish in the twinkling of an eye ... those without will be “left behind” to go through great tribulation. If you think things are bad on this earth now, you have no clue what’s coming. Read the book of Revelation. My estimation is that we are right now somewhere between Revelation chapters 5-6! https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/5/1/s_1172001
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." {1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV, "asleep" or "sleep" in this instance is the KJV's word for "dead", speaking of those in Christ that had/have already passed away.}
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." {1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV}
Jesus {Yeshua} is the Son of God, and He told us what we must do to be saved ...
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" {John 11:25-26 KJV, Martha's response, for which I wholeheartedly agree & confess: "She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world." {John 11:27 KJV}
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." {John 14:1-7 KJV}
The apostle Paul put it this way ...
"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." {Romans 10:8-11 KJV}
And more sobering words from the mouth of the Lord ...
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." -Jesus {Mark 16:15-16 KJV}
Believers, our soon coming resurrection/rapture IS our blessed hope, and you need to keep vigilant watch. Your job is to STAY AWAKE, having your lamps lit along with an extra cruse (flask, container) full of oil so that you are equipped to go the distance should our Lord tarry. Keep watching and warn others that the fulfillment of the "times of the Gentiles" is at hand. The time of our redemption {resurrection/rapture} is near, certainly nearer than when you first believed! Behold {Look}, the Bridegroom cometh.
"And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him." -Jesus {Matthew 25:6 KJV}
"And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, [that] thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali." {Hosea 2:16 KJV, Baali means Lord; Ishi means Husband.}
Maranatha to our Husband {Ishi}!

10/09/17 ~ Scotty's dream ...
My hubby Scotty's dream 10/09/17 (8-9 AM)
Scotty was sick all day yesterday, nasty cold chills, hadn't eaten all that day, and felt quite sick. He told me about his dream that he had early this morning, which is today, Oct 9, 2017, approximately 8-9AM (so his dream was a morning event) this is what he says:
In his dream he got up from bed and he walked out into the kitchen, where he saw a young man we had told about the Lord to last year that has since passed away (his name is Shane), who was standing in our hallway near our hallway coat-rack. Hubby says he didn't let him in, nor was the dog barking at him but he was standing there as real as this life and hubby found that surprising.
As Scotty sees Shane in the hallway of our house, he says, "Shane!?" (Like he recognized him but couldn't understand why he was there because he had died). Shane was standing in our hallway with a white robe on, he didn't "look like a ghost" but a normal person but with a white robe on. Shane, said, "Ya, I've come to pick you guys up!" Hubby said, "Why?" And Shane said, "I've come to pick you guys up because you saved me from hell." Hubby said, "Huh?" Shane said, "I asked Jesus if I could come and pick you up because you saved me from hell and I wanted to pick you up!" He handed Scotty two white robes. I (Deb) was still in bed. Scotty took one of the robes and threw it for me on the bed and said, "Come on honey, let's go, we're goin' home!" And sleepily, I said, "What?" (shocked, confused). Hubby reiterated to put the robe on and that we're going home! Hubby walked back in the kitchen (from the bedroom). I quickly put the robe on and was right behind him when he reached the kitchen. As I was walking out of the bedroom I saw Shane, and he said to me, "An angel is going for your sister and her friend." Then Shane handed us each a sash that was red with gold trim & letters that Scotty couldn't read, a really decorative cloth sash (belt) with vines & flowers along the top and bottom edge in gold filigree. Shane had a white sash on. Scotty asked Shane what these two sashes were for (represented), and Shane said, "It was a symbol he was given to bring to us (when he brought us our robes) that represents those who save lives." Scotty was initially taken aback about the sash but soon realized it was an honorary symbol for those who save lives for the kingdom of God. We understood and put the sashes on. Scotty looked at Shane and asked, "Can we take Jasper?" And Shane said, "Sure! Come on, let's go!" We walked out of the front door, with the dog, and we were gone. The dream lasted a mere three to five minutes. The End. Actually, it's The Beginning of eternity with God ;o}
Of course, this brings tears to our eyes to know the few words we spoke to Shane about the Lord and how he loves him entered his heart and he IS with the Lord in heaven. We hope & pray that Shane's family knows the Lord and will come with us when the time arrives.
What hubby didn't know (until after he'd told me his dream just now) is that last night I prayed to the Lord to give me confirmation that the time of our redemption/resurrection (rapture) is near. I got a question posed to me at that time, in my mind ... the question was: what if we tell Scotty instead? My reply was, of course! If you tell him, that's as good a confirmation as if you told me. Scotty hasn't had many encounters with the Lord and so I am so glad the Lord gave him this dream. Thank You Lord.
For the record, hubby seldom, very seldom, remembers his dreams. He woke up crying, wondering if the rapture was going to be today, that's how real it felt. He doesn't recall thinking of Shane in recent days so this dream took him completely by surprise. It was vivid and very real. As though he'd gotten up to go to the bathroom, and there Shane was! He had gotten up to go to the bathroom, let the dog out, and after letting the dog back in he decided to go back to bed, he fell asleep almost immediately and that's when he got the dream.
"And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." {Joel 2:28-32 KJV}
"But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." {Acts 2:16-21 KJV}

09/13/17 ~ Don't *shoot* the messengers ...
! PAY ATTENTION ! ~ Please, repent now ...
"When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." {Ezekiel 3:18 KJV}
"Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Who knoweth [if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?" {Joel 2:12-14 KJV}
"And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. ... And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered [him] with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused [it] to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that [is] in their hands. Who can tell [if] God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did [it] not." {Jonah 3:1-2, 4-10 KJV}
"And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." -Jesus {Matthew 24:2 KJV}
"And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." -Jesus {Mark 13:2 KJV}
"And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation." -Jesus {Luke 19:44 KJV} ...AND... [As for] these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." -Jesus {Luke 21:6 KJV ... 40 years from the time that Jesus' ministry began in 30 AD to the destruction of the temple and the dispursement (diaspora) of the nation of Israel (the Jews) occured in 70 AD}
DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGERS, HEED THE WARNINGS BECAUSE THEY ARE GIVEN FOR YOUR GOOD. If you hear sugar-coated warnings of "all is well", then be concerned, be very concerned. God's prophets NEVER *warned* when things were *good*. Beware of those that tickle your ears! You won't get sugar from me ...
"I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." {2 Timothy 4:1-5 KJV}
*CORRECTION*: The MEME should say Israel's disaster happened forty years after His ministry began (not His death); their destruction happened approximately 37 years after His death.

07/18/17 ~ My *rapture* dream ...
In my dream, my hubby & I were at some sort of campground or resort that had cabins, RVs, tents and people occupying them. I think we were in an RV (motorhome). Some of the people in the campground were doped/drunk, some were fighting between themselves (male & female arguments, hitting each other, etc). It was nighttime, dark, no stars, and no moon, that I remember. I'm praying they'd all stop fighting and settle down for the night when ...
-ALL OF A SUDDEN- there was a *bright FLASH of light* ... lightening fast ... with the sound of a quick peel of thunder. I notice that I'm on the top of our RV and looking around at the dark, black sky for what caused the flash thinking perhaps it was a meteorite or maybe fireworks.
I find a spot in the sky looking to the east (I think) where I see a bright ball of light, sort of the size of the moon but growing in size as streaks or bolts of electricity are gathered into it. I'm on top of the RV and realize, THE RAPTURE IS HAPPENING! I'm jumping up and down yelling "Abba!" with my arms raised high in the air. I'm jumping up in excitement and joy, trying to *lift off* to join my fellow believers, and after a few tries I'm in the air flying towards this beacon of light. As I'm moving up I notice that I'm glowing, I can't see myself but I see the glow around me. To my left is a ball of electricity or light going up near me, the ball of light is about the size of a baseball. Others are already reaching the light and I see them as streaks of electricity being drawn into the light. I think, in my dream, "I sure hope this isn't a dream, that would really suck."
Well, it was (a dream) and I went from that dream to another one where hubby & I are at someone's house in their kitchen. The wife, a farmer-type gal, seemingly pure as the driven snow (in my view) is sitting on one side of their table and her hubby, two kids, my hubby & I are on the other side of the table. My hubby was helping her hubby with some sort of grinding where my hubby was trying to alter a wire grinding tool. This was something I saw them working on a couple of times in the dream: before the scene of the wife and us at the kitchen table, and then afterwards.
Anyway, the hubby and wife aren't really talking, there's clearly a separation in spirit between them. We ask why she's so quiet and the hubby says, "She committed adultery." I looked back towards where she was sitting, and in shock, I ask, "Are you serious?" Wondering what that was all about, I'm looking back at where she sat but she had moved. She is now slumped down against a corner wall with her knees up and her elbows on her knees with her hands over her face, sobbing, and when I asked her (who seemed to me that there'd be NO WAY she'd of done such a thing) if that was true ... she softly replied, "Yes!" I was the only one that heard her say yes. I went over to her and took her by the hand and told her we should go and talk. She brought me to a room in their house, just her and I, and told me all about her "sin of adultery".
I was about to tell her that Jesus still loves her and all she needs to do is repent and ask Him to forgive her and that it was her remorse that was keeping her from being the wife/mother the Lord would have her be; and that He is willing to forgive her if she'd just release it to Him. Anyway, I didn't get a chance to tell her all of that because our dog barked (around 4PM, for real LOL) and I woke up. I also noticed in the dream that she apparently only had one real friend, for whom, even to him, she couldn't tell her deepest regrets; he was her karate teacher, but he was not the one she'd committed adultery with. I don't recall hearing who that would have been. As I was waking up tho I did see her and her hubby holding hands so I take it that they would eventually reconcile in spirit. She just needed someone she could let all her guilt out to that wouldn't judge her, or so I felt.
I get from this that, there are many that belong to the Lord that have been sinning and not giving their sins to Him for forgiveness. They feel the guilt of those sins weighing heavily on them but don't surrender that guilt and don't ask Him for healing. Her husband and kids wanted to be reunited (in spirit) but she couldn't forgive herself and that was hindering her from reconnecting with them as she should. Maybe she was representing "the foolish virgins" of Mat 25:1-13.
Recently, I have been watching (on YouTube) others' dreams of the rapture, make of that what you will. Their dreams, and mine, agree that the RAPTURE (catching away of the ready virgins) seems to happen at night -or- during a darkened sky. Perhaps the light, initially showing like a full moon but not being the moon, may allude to Aug 7th, which is Tu B'Av (15th of Av) -IF- this year (2017) -OR- some other Jewish holiday that will occur on the eve of a full moon. But then, the fact that the sky was a nighttime dark, could mean it will happen on a new moon evening. Time will tell if it's this year or some other. I was not given any specific date so I don't know when it will be, nor am I about to *date set*.
I report, you decide ;o}
Last year I wrote about Tu B'Av and the potential significance it has for the church (ready virgins). {PLEASE NOTE - THIS YEAR'S DATE FOR Tu B'Av IS: Aug 6-7 (sunset to sunset), rather than what the article dates were for last year.} You can read those here ...

06/23/2017 ~ God speaks, are you listening?
.:: Parroting, God in a box ::.
Once upon a time I was parroting (repeating in my mind what I'd *heard* elsewhere that *sounded* right at the time) that the bible was written by many people and therefore fallible. Immediately God responded, and He was definitely annoyed, He said: "So, I can't get My word down to you in tact over the millennia? What kind of God am I to you?" Well, just wow! Talk about a slap down!
I realized at that moment that if God, Whom I had in a very small box, couldn't get His word down to me in tact over the past few thousand years, then He wouldn't be God ... would He!? He would be some being of my own imagination that has limitations. In truth, God has NO limitations and since He created all we see and know of and much more that we don't see or know of yet then He can certainly speak to mankind at certain points of HIS-story (history) and they will write. Just as I'm doing now.
God does speak and He speaks through those that are willingly obedient. Some people say they've heard Him speak audibly, but most just hear that "still, small voice" {1Kings 19:11-12} and they know it's Him. I now know that every word of my bible is true ... ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN BY SO MANY AND YET SO CLEAR AND ACCURATE ... and God has kept His promise to mankind {Hebrews 13:5}, none will be able to use this *excuse* against Him. It didn't hold up to honest scrutiny by me, and it won't hold up for you either. This is why I defend God's word and I quote it often when I write. God's word is truth {John 17:17}. And, God is not a man that He should lie {Numbers 23:19}.
You owe it to yourselves, and more-so to God, not to just parrot what others say; seek God out for yourself in earnest. For every negative argument, God has a correction, if you are willing to receive it.
"And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart." {Jeremiah 29:13 KJV}
.:: Standards of man -vs- Standards of God ::.
Another instance of God speaking to me was not so long ago, where I was thinking to the Lord that the world isn't such a bad place whereby my intent of the thought was to say that it could be many years before it gets bad enough for Him to return ... but He put a sock in it before I could finish the thought. He said to me, "According to who's standards?" Well, that was another major slap down! How true. I was looking through my puny human eyes.
I don't see the big picture, God does. His word is full of the sins of mankind and how He's forced to respond to those sins ... mostly He's patient and compassionate but when we don't turn from our sins, especially collectively, He is forced to take drastic action. It's always His wish that we do right, but we don't. We are truly in days such as the days of Lot (Sodom & Gomorrah), or the days of Noah. Mankind is full of himself and without God for the most part.
I was judging the world then (I think it was around 2012-ish) according to the standard of man, not the standard of God ... which is very different. He is Holy, we are not. His standard is documented for us in His word, see Exodus 20 (the ten commandments).
It won't be much longer before we force Him to respond as He did in the days of Noah, or the days of Lot (Sodom & Gomorrah). And we will have no one to blame but ourselves. Jesus warned of our day when He said ...
"And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." {Luke 17:26-30 KJV}
As I often say, life is full of choices but it really boils down to just two, as it's been from the beginning, way back in the garden of Eden: 1) God's way, the tree of life; or 2) satan's way, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Think on that.

03/18/17 ~ OT -vs- NT ...
Source: Google Images
OT = Old Testament (Covenant): "For I [am] the LORD, I change not ..." {Malachi 3:6 KJV}
NT = New Testament (Covenant): "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." {Hebrews 13:8 KJV}
Our bible today is compiled of scrolls (books) written long before we came into the world. The scrolls were written by men who were inspired or instructed to write by the Lord &/or moved by the Holy Spirit:
"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost." {2 Peter 1:21 KJV} MORE ... https://www.blueletterbible.org/search/search.cfm?Criteria=write%2A+book%2A&t=KJV#s=s_primary_0_1
People in the land of Israel believed in the God of the OT, Who was revealed in the flesh in the man we call Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew). John the Baptist (aka: the Immerser; as we call him today in modern English) testified and was witness to God becoming a man and dwelling with His people Israel, who rejected Him. John testified, verbally and in writing, of God coming in the person of Jesus.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." ... after affirming himself as a witness to God in the flesh (Jesus), John continues ... "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]." {John 1:1-5, 10-18 KJV, see also John 1:6-9 KJV}.
The NT didn't exist in the days of Jesus, nor the apostles and early disciples who later ended up writing as they too were instructed of the Spirit. Even to this day we believers are writing parts of the New Testament that will likely be read by many during the -soon coming- millennial reign of Jesus.
Jesus said that the OT testifies of Him, He was talking to the religious establishment of His day when He said (and this still applies to many false religions today) ...
"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." -Jesus {John 5:39 KJV}
The *Bereans* didn't search the NT, they searched the OT, that's all they had at the time!
"And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming [thither] went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few." {Acts 17:10-12 KJV}
When the Lord returns to rule & reign on this earth for 1,000 years, He will do so with a ROD OF IRON, meaning, this earth's inhabitants will be living under the OT rules, based on the 10 commandments. He will not re-instate the 613 "Mosaic Laws" but will simply and fully enforce the 10 commandments. This is why by the end of the 1,000 years, when satan is let loose for a short time, the nations will once again gather to war against Him. The ROD OF IRON is also called a "sharp sword", which is the verbal and written -word of God- that comes out of Jesus' mouth as documented in the OT, and confirmed in the NT.
"And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." {Revelation 19:15 KJV}
He will wipe out all the evil-doers of all nations before renewing this world and those that are His of all ages will step into eternity with God Who will be coming to the new earth to live with His people. Watch for it, it is coming sooner than you think.
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God." {Revelation 21:3 KJV}
The NT is the New Covenant, and it does NOT replace the OT, which is the Old Covenant. It's a witness to it, a confirmation that what has been written down from ancient times is as true today as it has ever been. The NT is a second witness and verifies the OT.
BOTH the Old Testament AND the New Testament are witnesses, be sure you understand that.
"But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." {Matthew 18:16 KJV}
I'm with Joshua ... "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." {Joshua 24:15 KJV}
No folks, the Lord did NOT do away with the OT in favor of the NT. BOTH testify of Him in their own ways and indeed they cross-testify back and forth between them. We can't fully understand the NT without first reading and understanding the OT. BOTH are equally valuable.
I testify that Jesus (Yeshua) IS the Son of God come into the earth as One of His own creation, that being the person of Jesus of Nazareth. I am washed by His precious shed blood that paid for my sins in full. Maranatha to the -soon coming- King.
"Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed [are] those who have not seen and [yet] have believed."" {John 20:29 NKJV}

02/08/17 ~ Walking with the Prophets
I don't know about you but when I get to heaven I suspect I'll be hanging out with the prophets a good part of eternity. I do not claim to be a prophet, nor would I really want to be (considering the lives they lived and the cruel ways for which the majority of them died). I don't profess to hear the audible voice of God saying to me, "Thus saith the Lord".
Even so, my heart is one of a prophet: I hear (in the spirit); I see in the natural how the world is in rapid moral decline; I speak from what has long been foretold in the bible regarding horrors that are coming upon this sinful world's inhabitants that refuse to hear God. All of the bible's warnings are well over 2,000 years old (many of them are up to 6,000 years old). Just like in the days of Noah when people were given space of 120 years to repent ... they didn't, and they perished ... only Noah and seven of his family survived that catastrophic worldwide flood some 4,000 years ago!
There are many scriptures whereby the prophets are told to "gird up thy loins" (this means they were to pull up their garment from the back, up between their legs, tuck it into the front, and run with the message given - in other words, buck up and go!). I don't know of any passages that say they were sent with any news other than "repent" or else destruction was at hand.
Like the prophets of old, my words are not necessarily expressed in the most compassionate and eloquent of ways. Perhaps I can blame the stoic ancestry that sprouted me. But then what say I of the prophets and apostles of old? Most of them cried buckets of tears and lamented over the places where they were sent ... why? ... because their message to repent and turn to the Lord pretty much fell on the spiritually dead: children of the god of this world (satan); and the Lord's servants knew in advance what the end result would be.
"Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending [them]; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD." {Jeremiah 29:19 KJV}
"I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending [them], saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me." {Jeremiah 35:15 KJV}
So it is today. If you are hearing sugar-coating preaching that all is well, it's likely from a lying spirit. All is NOT well: not here in the USA, not in Canada, not in Australia, not in Israel ... nowhere ... is all well. You only have to reflect at how life was when you were a child and compare it to today to see the utter evil we're enduring. I can well attest to the decline since I've been living nearly 60 years. No, all is NOT well.
If you hear someone declaring a *doom and gloom* message in what -you perceive- to be "anger", or "uncaring", consider the days in which we live. Think about the prophets of old. Even Jesus when He lamented in tears and preached (prophesied) of Israel's soon destruction was largely ignored and ultimately killed, like most of those before Him. All but one apostle was murdered, so likewise suffered many of the prophets of old; their message wasn't wanted then, and it's not wanted now.
People that preach "the end is near" do so from a tone of urgency, trying to get people to listen before it's too late. It's not anger that we speak from, it's frustration. It's a dreadful knowing what will happen to those that don't listen. Think about this, sin cannot go unanswered indefinitely. At some point the Lord is going to have to do what He will have to do to stop the blatant, rampant evil. The world's peoples are spiraling out of self-control on mass and headed to self-annihilation. Can you say nuclear war?
Jesus WILL come, sooner than later at this point in HIS-story (history). Mankind will only have themselves to blame when this 'age of grace' expires and they find themselves facing God's wrath! The biblical prophecies of what is coming on this world are millennia old and as those before me have tried to share (so that people could be saved) the world (for the most part) has walked-on-by without a care. As to the delay, God is compassionate, and He does things according to His own timing, not ours. Consider {2 Peter 3 KJV} if you are among the "scoffers" regarding the lateness of the hour.
Does it bother me that so many are going to perish? Of course it does! I'm compelled to speak in righteous indignation, albeit to deaf ears. My heart grieves, especially for the children who are being taught so many evil things in our day ... that's what really breaks my heart, the children ... raised up to believe and act out on things they aught not! Surely you don't want the world to continue on as it is? Where is YOUR compassion for the children??? Jesus predicted that things will get so bad that He would have to shorten the days or no one would survive!
"And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days." -Jesus {Mark 13:20 KJV}
Yes folks, call me heartless if that makes you feel superior. But, I WANT Jesus to come back, the sooner the better ... NOW would be good! If not for me ... please Lord, come for the children! When He does come, sin will be vanquished on this earth and the world will be restored for a thousand years of true peace and prosperity, though He will have to rule with a rod of iron (which means by biblical standards). Yes, I want that. There is NOTHING more important to me now than "thy kingdom come"! I am certainly looking forward to my future in glory with my eternal Husband {Jesus / Yeshua}!
If you love Jesus more than the world then you should likewise prepare!!! I was recently asked how does one prepare, in other words, how does one *let go of this world* ... all of it ... here's the answer:
"Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." {1 John 2:15 KJV}
We are just going to have to trust the Lord for those things that are "left behind". But until that day arrives, I'll continue to shout the saving grace of Jesus from the rooftop! If just one person hears me and turns from their wicked ways, I will have accomplished the mission I was born into and by life experience was prepared for. Every single believer in Jesus is an Ambassador for His kingdom, every one of us a witness to His majesty. We are all suppose to reach out to a dying world however the Lord has equipped us individually. We are not all the same, each of us has our own gifts and calling. All saints that have gone home to be with the Lord looked forward to their reward. Well done good and faithful servants. I strive for that day also! Do I want masses of people to die without the Lord, heck no! Am I looking forward to His soon return? YOU BET! I will continue to warn but when I see Jesus in the clouds, I will not be looking back when I go to meet Him in the air.
In closing, if you look down your nose at those with a prophetic voice: those that see what is coming as I do; know this ... you are -no different- than those who have persecuted the likes of me throughout the ages. One thing I know for sure, I'm in good company. I'll have done my duty and none of you will be lost on my account. Your blood will be on your own head/hands {Ezekiel 33 KJV comes to mind}. I'll leave the love-preaching up to others, that's NOT my calling.
"But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." -Jesus {Matthew 24:37-39 KJV}
We have arrived. We are in the last days, Jesus IS coming, time is short. REPENT! Since you are reading this, consider yourself ... put on notice. Get in the ark {Jesus} while there's still time. Turn from (repent of) your sins against God; ask Jesus to come into your heart & life, if you mean it from your heart (not just your head), He will come into you, that's a promise.
"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." {Romans 10:8-13 KJV}
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." -Jesus {Mark 16:16 KJV}
If you've given your heart to Jesus then you have become "born again", a child of God (no longer of the world, satan). Perhaps we'll soon meet in the air!? Maranatha, come soon Ishi {Husband}!

{Jesus' words are shown in red letters.}
01/26/17 ~ Left, Right ... or "in the middle"?
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" {Isaiah 5:20 KJV}
Source - Google Images
Let me define some terms for you FROM THE BIBLE:
*LEFT - cold, goats, tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
wide and broad, many, corrupt tree with evil fruits,
satan's worldly ways, error and lies
*RIGHT - hot, sheep, tree of life,
straight and narrow, few, good tree with good fruits,
God's ways, righteousness and truth
And then there's this:
*Center - somewhere in the middle, neutral, undecided, double minded, lukewarm
As I've said plenty of times, we've had at least two choices from the beginning of man's creation. Here's what Jesus {Yeshua} has to say about left, right, and lukewarm. When you see the plain sense of the biblical terms you see that being extreme (aka: *far*) on either end ... is either really bad, or really good.
.:: TWO TREES ~ TWO CHOICES ::.
"And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." {Genesis 2:9 KJV}
We know from the biblical account that Eve, and Adam, chose the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, causing the downfall of mankind whereby sin has entered into the world. In other words, of the TWO CHOICES they had ... they both made the WRONG choice. The result of that sin (transgression of the law) is death, and every human being (except those alive when Jesus comes for His church) will suffer it. You should notice that sin, being the transgression of the law, means that Adam & Eve HAD the law already, they knew right from wrong, thus in doing wrong they hid themselves from God ... but that's another story I'll not go into now.
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" ... {Romans 5:12 KJV}
"What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" {Romans 6:15-16 KJV}
.:: LEFT -or- RIGHT ::.
"When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." -JESUS {Matthew 25:31-46 KJV}
.:: LUKEWARM ::.
"A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways." {James 1:8 KJV}
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded." {James 4:8 KJV}
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." -JESUS {Revelation 3:15-16 KJV}
In my honest opinion, the reason people prefer to take an "in the middle" stance is for their own perceived safety & self-preservation. They don't want to rock the boat. They don't want to suffer the wrath of their fellow misguided friends or family. They don't want to end up in jail because their gov't says to keep silent! God calls that "double minded", and lukewarm. You are either FULLY *for Him* or FULLY *against Him*, you can't be both. There is the broad gate that leads to a wide way (path), and there is a straight gate that leads to a narrow way (path). Which one are you on? Are you of the good tree, or the corrupt tree?
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." -JESUS {Matthew 7:13-14 KJV}
"Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." -JESUS {Matthew 7:17-20 KJV}
My advice? Make up your mind, preferably on the *right* side of the biblical spectrum. Also, there's no such thing as *far left* (goat) or *far right* (sheep); you are either left (goats), or you are right (sheep), there is NO *middle* ground to the Lord. He makes it clear that if you think you're *in the middle* you are actually on the *left* and He will literally VOMIT {spue} you out of His mouth and appoint you to the same punishment as the goats on the left at His coming.
What makes a person a goat or a sheep? That depends on the source(s) you rely on for your information. Is the bible all true, partially true, well I don't understand it so I'll sit on the fence awhile? It's ALL true. That means when it says certain things are an abomination or a sin to God then I/we are to proclaim it from the rooftops because that's what the bible says is truth and that is what I (and you) should align with, not some fluffed up human cause or alternate belief, which is idolatry. Whether I or you agree with the bible or not is irrelevant. His word is final no matter how we may *feel* about it.
Christians should NEVER base their decisions of wrong or right on *how they feel* about a particular topic, if the bible says something is wrong, then it's wrong! God has given us His word IN WRITING as a testimony of wrong or right. Jesus is the word (bible) made flesh, and since He is sinless then we can be confident that His written word (the bible) is also sinless, and fully righteous. If God can't get His word down to you intact then you've got the wrong god.
Either the bible is true in all its wording, and understanding that Jesus IS the "word made flesh", or it's not, that's for YOU to decide. But sitting on the fence, being "in the middle" (aka: moderate or some other form of non-decision) is not going to be blessed according to Jesus.
"[As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him." {2 Samuel 22:31 KJV}
"In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me." {Psalms 56:4 KJV}
"Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that put their trust in him." {Proverbs 30:5 KJV}
"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." {1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV}
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." {2 Timothy 2:15 KJV}
Yes folks, there are only two choices in the end, left (goat, tree of knowledge of good and evil) or right (sheep, tree of life). Anything in between is lukewarm and we've read above what will happen to those people. Either God's word is true, in its entirety, or you make God a liar. It's YOUR choice as always ...
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." {Joshua 24:15 KJV}
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." {Revelation 2:7 KJV} ...and... "Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." -JESUS {Revelation 22:14 KJV}
I'm sorry if this article offends *many* of you but I must speak the truth in love, as the prophets of old likewise did, even if it's not perceived as such. I pray you seek the Lord on this. If you say, "I don't know", that's one thing, but, the Lord wants you to earnestly seek Him out (through His written word) for the answer and not to just "sit on the fence". Whether we're talking about humanity, politics, or spiritual beliefs ... there are only TWO CHOICES: wrong or right.
Don't rely on our modern culture (NEWS, magazines, articles, posts, videos, etc) to dictate to you what is truth; for they (those who don't obey God's word) just need to slip in a little poison (lie) mixed in with your drink of choice (truth) to kill you BOTH physically and spiritually. It's up to YOU to watch what goes into your own ear and eye gates!
As for me, I choose to be REALLY (extreme, far) right (hot, sheep, tree of life, God's ways, straight and narrow, good tree, good fruit).
Thanks for reading ;o}

01/24/17 ~ Rachel {Israel} & Leah {the church} ...
.:: WHO's WHO ::.
The people in the story are {a type or foreshadowing of} ...
Jacob {= God and/or Jesus, Yeshua}
Rachel {= Israel}
Leah {= the church during the "times of the Gentiles"}
God {= Himself}
Jesus {= Yeshua, Himself}
If you study the story of the sisters, Rachel & Leah, whom Jacob married, you will see a type and shadow of the two brides of God/Christ: Israel {Rachel} and the church {Leah}. I am not speaking to the life of either of these women specifically, only of their marriage to Jacob and what those represent in relation to Israel and the church. For instance, Israel's harlotry (idolatry against God) is not a reflection in any way of Rachel, although she did carry her father's idols around for some time before Jacob found them and buried them, but that's another story. Nor is this page a reflection of the person of Leah, who was the lesser wife (so to speak), the wife Jacob got instead of the one he expected to get. But in a sense perhaps their lives do reflect Israel and the church to some degree ... we'll not get into that now tho. You can read the story of Jacob, Rachel, and Leah in Genesis 29-49.
I believe that when God met with Israel at Mount Sinai (after Moses led them out of Egypt), they (Israel) were at that time betrothed to Him (God). Being betrothed in the bible is to be married, but living separately. You were to live a pure, chaste life in preparation for your husband to come for you and bring you to his father's house whereby he (the husband) had spent the time of your separation building a home for you and he to begin your family life together. When your husband came to take you home, then the marriage would be consummated at your new place in his father's house.
So, in the story, Jacob {a type or foreshadowing of God} married Rachel {a type or foreshadowing of Israel} at that time {covenant at Mount Sinai}, which, by the way, was at the time of Pentecost/Shavuot! Israel was married to God at that time and expected to keep covenant (marriage contract) with Him while He was away building a place for them in his father's house. Yes, God {Jesus, Yeshua} went away to build a place for His intended bride {Israel} in His Father's house, see Matthew 22 KJV {quoted below}. You can also read the story of Israel meeting with God at Mount Sinai here in Exodus 19.
In Exodus 19:8, we see that Israel verbally accepts the contract/covenant by collectively saying ... "And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD." To this day we accept our marriage contract by saying "I do."
The contract (covenant) that God made with Israel was the ten commandments, you can read those in Exodus 20. And then the LORD spends the next few chapters expounding on what the ten commandments mean to the people and what will happen should they choose to accept, and what will happen should they accept but then turn from His contract/covenant and serve idols (false gods). Exodus 24 goes on to have Moses go up to Mount Sinai to meet with God and to receive the written copy of the contract (the two tablets of stone for which the ten commandments were written by the finger of God). And the people of Israel once again confirm their contract/covenant when, after forty days/nights, Moses comes down to them with the written contract/covenant as we see here "And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do." {Exodus 24:3 KJV}
*Rabbit Trail* ... I believe the forty days/nights are significant and relate to jubilees, whereby the 40 days represent 40 years and the jubilee of 50 years represents 50 jubilees, 40 x 50 = 2000 years. I've *gone there* (done the math) in other posts so I'll not go there in this post.
So, Israel (as like Rachel) becomes God's wife and that's how God identifies her, and as Jeremiah confirms, Israel also backslid and became idolatrous with the surrounding nations, in other words, she broke the contract/covenant of marriage to God and went a-whoring among the nations ...
"And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful, saith the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." {Jeremiah 3:11-15 KJV}
"Surely [as] a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD." {Jeremiah 3:20 KJV}
Think this through folks. How would you feel ... and perhaps some of you know this first hand ... if your wife or husband went a-whoring after another? Would you not be righteously and properly angry with your spouse? This is why Israel (9 & a 1/2 of the 12 tribes/sons of Israel/Jacob), and later Judah (2 & a 1/2 of the 12 tribes/sons of Israel/Jacob) were dispersed among the nations. Israel went after *other gods* and left her first Love. Would this not provoke you to anger? Would you not *put away* the evil from you? Of course you would!
Even so, God loves His bride Israel and He will bring her back to Himself, yet future, as He's promised. But first she must go through many troubles and tribulations in order to see and understand why He's put her out. At some point she will realize that she rejected her Husband when He came to consummate their marriage in (approximately) 33AD! Oh the whaling and weeping that is to come, the mourning! when the whole of Israel realizes that the last 2,000 years didn't have to happen as they have! Read Zechariah 12-14 if you want to understand how the fulfillment of the "times of the Gentiles" and the saving of Israel will unfold!
*Rabbit Trail* ... Another interesting thing about contracts/covenants, it takes the death of one of the parties to nullify that contract. Thus to this day when a marriage takes place, we say ... "until death us do part." ... whereby, the contract of marriage ends at the death of one of the spouses. Some people believe that this is one of the reasons Jesus had to die, to *officially* release Israel from her marriage contract.

~ BEGIN BRIEF INTERLUDE ~
Many people try to separate God & Christ as two different beings. I believe Christ is the physical manifestation of the ONE true God. Jesus is how we *see* God, in the flesh; just like we have a body and that's how we *see* each other. God says He made man(kind) in His own image and likeness. He is three-in-One: Spirit, Soul, Body = Father, Holy Spirit, Son (not necessarily in that order). Jesus is God with us, which is what Emmanuel or Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23) means. Likewise, man(kind) being made in God's image and likeness are body, soul & spirit ... three-in-one. So, Jesus came as the physical aspect of God. This is why Jesus said the following:
"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." {John 14:7 KJV}
Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?" {John 14:9 KJV}
"I and [my] Father are one." {John 10:30 KJV}
It took doubting Thomas' seeing Jesus AFTER His resurrection before he understood that he had spent time with God in the flesh! "But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [be] unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed." {John 20:24-29 KJV}
~ END BRIEF INTERLUDE ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK, so ... understanding that God & Jesus are One and the same, but shown as different aspects, we move on. To be *betrothed*, in God's eyes, is to be married. It's a commitment for which both parties sign ...OR... verbally agree to a contract/covenant. And from that signing, and a bride price being paid, they are considered as one. The bride price Jesus paid was His own life's blood. Then the groom takes leave of his bride and goes to build a home for her at his father's house. This is a type and shadow of what Jesus did with: 1) Israel at Mount Sinai at Shavuot in the days of Moses, and 2) the church at Pentecost/Shavuot in (approximately) 33AD.
I believe that Jesus' FIRST COMING was Him coming to consummate the marriage with Israel, but they were asleep; they totally missed their own consummation because they'd gone into harlotry chasing after worldly goods and idols (other gods)! So then the Lord began to receive the church, for whom we are willing and readily waiting for His return. Even so, many of us are asleep and will miss Him when He comes a SECOND TIME to consummate our marriage. We are married to Him NOW, but when He comes for us, just before Jacob's trouble begins, He will take those of us that are ready to His Father's house to consummate the marriage contract we've signed. How did we sign that contract/covenant? By believing that God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins, to be the sacrificial Lamb once and for all. Salvation is what Jesus' Hebrew name, Yeshua, means. He is coming for His church/bride. I pray you are ready having nothing in this world more important to you than His soon appearing!
"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." {Hebrews 9:28 KJV} See also the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13.
Jesus relates the entire story in a parable in Matthew 22 ...
"And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of [it], and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated [them] spitefully, and slew [them]. But when the king heard [thereof], he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few [are] chosen." {Matthew 22:1-14 KJV}
In the parable above we see that the King is God, His Son is Jesus, the bride that the Son came for was Israel, but she was not worthy/ready. So He sends out into the world for those that are ready & willing, the church throughout the "times of the Gentiles", to come to the marriage. His servants were the prophets of the old covenant through whom God spoke to stiffnecked Israel; but in the new covenant era they were the apostles and disciples, and to this day are the followers of Jesus who proclaim the Good News of salvation into all the world as a witness. I believe, that the man without a wedding garment is satan and he will be thrown into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years while Christ and His bride rule & reign on earth from Jerusalem, Israel. Notice that 1) all things were *ready* when Jesus came the FIRST time; 2) He said, "The wedding is ready." ... when the Son came the FIRST time for His intended bride, Israel, they would not come, they weren't awake nor ready, and for the most part they'll miss Him when He comes again for His ready, wise church bride. Matthew 25:1-13 is not only for the sleeping, foolish virgins of the church but it's also yet another warning *sign* to Israel!
"Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD." {Jeremiah 8:12 KJV, read the whole chapter!}
Speaking of Jesus as He entered into Jerusalem for what would turn out to be His crucifixion instead of His marriage ... "And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation." {Luke 19:41-44 KJV}
The church {a type of Leah} is also the bride of Christ ...
"For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present [you as] a chaste virgin to Christ." -Paul {2 Corinthians 11:2 KJV}
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also." {John 14:1-3 KJV}
This IS the "times of the Gentiles", and at the "fulness of the Gentiles" God will again turn His attention back to His first bride, Israel.
"And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." -Jesus {"they" = Israel, Luke 21:24 KJV}
"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." -Paul {Romans 11:25 KJV}
Make NO mistake, we are very near the fulfillment of the "times of the Gentiles" right NOW!
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until [the time] come when ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord." -Jesus {Luke 13:34-35 KJV}
"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn." {Zechariah 12:10 KJV}
.:: SUMMARY ::.
Jacob {Jesus, Yeshua} is betrothed to Rachel {Israel} but, he gets Leah {the church} instead.
After consummating his bridal *week* with Leah {the church}; he gets his intended bride, Rachel {Israel}.
After Jesus and His (ready church) bride are in heaven for one week (7 years)
during which, a time called Jacob's trouble will befall Israel,
and at the conclusion of that trouble, Israel will call on her Messiah, Jesus.
Only THEN will He return for His intended bride Rachel {Israel}.
At that time, Jesus will be King over all the earth
and His bride will rule and reign with Him for 1,000 years
01/23/17 ~ Abraham, Isaac, and a ram ...
.:: WHO's WHO ::.
The person in the story is {a type or foreshadowing of} ...
Abraham {= Father, God}
Isaac {= son, Adam, mankind}
Ram {= sacrificial Lamb, Jesus, Yeshua}
God {= Himself}
Source - Google Images
In the story {Genesis 22} where Abraham is told to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice, we see that just as he is about to do so, an angel tells him to stay his hand; and then we see "a ram" caught in the thickets by its horns. Many people allege that Isaac is a 'type' of Jesus but this is not so. Isaac was NOT sacrificed.
Abraham of course represents God in this story, and I've come to understand by many biblical scriptures that Jesus {Yeshua} is the sacrificial Lamb of God. If you fully grasp that concept, then you see that Isaac could not be a 'type' of Jesus. Rather, Isaac is a foreshadow of mankind in general: Adam and his offspring throughout the ages, the fallen, sinful, human race.
Jesus {Yeshua} is the ram. Interestingly enough, the book of Enoch shows in the "Prophecy of the Animals" (chapters 89 to 93, link below) that a ram is always a king or leader (of the sheep). This, to me, confirms that "the ram" in the story of Abraham and Isaac is in fact a representation or foreshadowing of the coming sacrificial Lamb of God, Jesus {Yeshua}.
Because Abraham was faithful, God promised to make of him many nations and to bless him and those nations through his *seed*, Jesus {Yeshua}. Yes indeed, God {Himself} provided, a Lamb; a blameless, sinless offering for all of sinful mankind, should they choose to believe in what He's done for them with His own blood. God always keeps His word!
"And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together." {Genesis 22:7-8 KJV}
"And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son] from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son." {Genesis 22:11-13 KJV}
"Grace [be] to you and peace from God the Father, and [from] our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen." {Galatians 1:3-5 KJV}
"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." {John 1:29 KJV}
And yes, I know, Enoch is *not Cannon* (not accepted as scripture), but it's a fascinating read all the same and I do believe it helps give understanding of many things that the scriptures don't fully explain! Even so, take it with a grain of salt &/or put it on the back burner.
