Welcome to The Lamb's Wife blog!

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." -Rev 19:7 KJV ... "And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife." -Rev 21:9 KJV

12/26/15 ~ Moses, and the two witnesses ...

For those that claim Moses is one of the two witnesses and that he *did not die*, I present to you the following witnesses in scripture that -he did indeed die- and was buried on Mt Nebo ...

.:: MOSES ::.
Deu 31:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.

Deu 31:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.

Deu 32:49-50 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:  And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: {No one disputes that Aaron died! Why do they refuse to believe this scripture that says Moses will likewise "die".}

Deu 33:1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

Deu 34:5-8 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.  And he {the LORD, or possibly Michael the Archangel at the LORD's instruction} buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this dayAnd Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.  And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. {You don't weep !30 days! for someone that didn't die.}

Jos 1:1-2 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,  Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. {The LORD said it!}

Jde 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Now, to address the two witnesses ... they could only be Enoch of the 10th generation from Adam (translated) & Elijah the prophet (taken to heaven in a chariot of fire) as they are the ONLY TWO to have not died.

.:: ENOCH ::.
Gen 5:23-24 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:  And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

.:: ELIJAH ::.
2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

I may do another post on what I think Jesus meant when talking about Elijah having already come (in the spirit of John the baptist). For now, I think the two witnesses can only be the two men who have not yet died because the two witnesses WILL DIE {see Rev 11 link below} ...

Heb 9:27-28 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

.:: TWO WITNESSES ::.
Deu 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Zec 4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Zec 4:11-14 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?  And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?  And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.  Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. {The candlestick represents Jesus with His seven spirits/eyes; the two olive trees/branches represent the two human witnesses who have not yet died, Enoch & Elijah.}

Why two witnesses?

Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. -Jesus

Rev 11:3-4 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. -Jesus

Read the whole chapter (Rev 11 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/11/) for more information on these two witnesses, who are also called "two prophets", and are yet future in their coming fulfillment at the sixth trumpet. Again, the two olive trees represent the two human witnesses that have not yet died, Enoch & Elijah.

Luk 24:44 And he {Jesus} said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. -Jesus
... and ...
Jhn 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. -Jesus

To investigate Jesus' claims as seen above, I challenge you to begin by reading: Isa 51, Isa 63, Psa 2, Jhn 1.

Also, Jesus explains the purpose of candlesticks --- they are a place on which the candle that holds the fiery light rests, not to be hidden ...

Luk 11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. -Jesus

The two candlesticks here refers to two congregations of peoples, which I believe represents believing Israelites & Gentiles. We see Jesus define candlesticks in the beginning of the Book of Revelation ...

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. -Jesus

Well, that's all for now folks! I hope you had a blessed Christmas ;o}

Thanks for reading!

11/27/15 ~ The WORD made flesh ...

IF the Old Testament (Covenant) &/or New Testament (Covenant) are full of *lies* in your eyes; at best just a series of writings by Hebrews or Jews that have no significance to the church today, consider this ...

1) Jesus only had the Old Testament (Covenant) ... that WAS the soul food He *grew up* on.

2) Jesus, when tempted of the devil, quoted the bible all three times as His sole means of defense, saying:

    Mat 4:4    But he answered and said,
        It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
        but by every word that proceedeth out of
        the mouth of God.

Jesus was quoting partly from, Deu 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

    Mat 4:7    Jesus said unto him,
        It is written again,
        Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Jesus is partially quoting from, Deu 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

    Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him,
        Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,
        Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and
        him only shalt thou serve.

Jesus is quoting from here, Deu 6:13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

When we are under demonic attack, this is how we are to defend ourselves, by quoting God's word. It's Jesus, in writing!

And, did you notice??? "It is written" ... He says it many more times, starting with the beginning of His ministry when He partially quotes regarding His mission/ministry (1st coming) from Isaiah 61:1-2:

    Luk 4:16-21 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been
    brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue
    on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.  And there was
    delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when
    he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
    The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me
    to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the
    brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and
    recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
    To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
    And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister,
    and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue
    were fastened on him.  And he began to say unto them,
    This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Here Jesus is quoting, in part, Isaiah 61:1-2, which says: The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; {"the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn" speaks of His 2nd coming, which is why He stopped short of saying it}

Even while He was hanging, dying, on the cross, with what little breath He had left He warned them saying:

    Mar 15:34  And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,
    Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted,
    My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

He was telling all that could hear that He was fulfilling prophecy from Psa 22, I post in part:

Psa 22:1-2 [[To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.]] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. {Read ALL of Psa 22, it's prophecy of Jesus on the cross}

And here is even more of Jesus quoting scriptures, "it is written":

    Mat 11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written,
    Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall
    prepare thy way before thee.
{Speaking of John the baptist}

    Mat 21:13 And said unto them,
    It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer;
    but ye have made it a den of thieves.
{Speaking of the temple}

    Mat 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him:
    but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed!
    it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

    {Speaking of His betrayal by Judas, his friend}

    Mat 26:31 Then saith Jesus unto them,
    All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written,
    I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be
    scattered abroad.
{Speaking of the apostles and disciples
    abandoning Him the night of His arrest}

    Mar 7:6 He answered and said unto them,
    Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written,
    This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Do you believe you honor Him when you say His word is a lie or that any part of His word is a lie? Is He NOT God that He cannot get His word down to you IN TACT over the millennia?

IS God's word full of lies then? Here's what it has to say in its own defense:

Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

2Pe 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.

If you believe any part of the bible contains errors, or lies, then you believe Jesus is a liar and if that's the case then He is not God nor the Son of God because God cannot lie. The ONLY *word* the ancient Hebrews had was what we today call the Old Testament (Covenant), this is what Jesus came to do, be the word manifest to us in the flesh.

    Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets:
    I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

    Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which
    I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must
    be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in
    the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The OT is alive & well, in Jesus, the word made flesh. If you don't see the perfection and flow between the OT & NT then you are not seeking God with your whole heart. He promised that ...

Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Pro 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

IF the source of your information is anything BUT the bible, you are searching in the wrong place.

    Luk 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you;
    seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

    Jhn 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Now you have no excuse. BUT, you DO have choice ... choose to believe God's word in its entirety, or choose man's word. Your eternity depends on what you choose because NOT to believe God's word is to call Him (Jesus, God's word made flesh) a liar.

Deu 30:19-20 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

1Ki 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. {Baal, a demonic false god}

Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

11/08/15 ~ TO THE JEWS/ISRAELIS ...

Your Messiah/Meshiach is coming soon, sooner than you think. But this will be His 2nd coming (Judah ben David-Conquering King) since you *missed* His 1st coming (Judah ben Joseph-Suffering Servant). Before you get mad, read and consider ...

.:: PROPHESIED ::.
Deu 32:21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. - Moses/Mosheh {They=Israel & Judah; those that are not a people, a foolish nation=believers in Jesus/Yeshua}

.:: FULFILLED ::.
Rom 10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

???WHAT PART OF MESSIAH BEING *CUT OFF*, BUT NOT FOR HIMSELF ... BEFORE THE TEMPLE WAS TO BE DESTROYED ... DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND???
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. {the prince that shall come shall destroy the city AND the sanctuary=Rome, 70 AD; Jesus-the Messiah=THE Son of God -a Jew of the tribe of JUDAH- taught in Jerusalem from 30-33 AD, BEFORE the temple was destroyed; "cut off"=died, "not for himself"=for His people Israel, who rejected Him as their Messiah, see below for more on this.}

Go ahead, READ ISAIAH 53, PSALM 22, AND DANIEL 9

Read JOHN 1 in the New Covenant/Testament, I'll post some of it for you ...

Jhn 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was GodThe same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Jhn 1:9-14} [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him notHe came unto his own, and his own received him not.  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. {His own=Israel.}

"In the beginning" ... "And God said" The LORD, God, spoke everything into existence ... this is the WORD MADE FLESH that came and dwelt among us. If you think God can't, or won't/wouldn't come into His own creation as One of us then your god isn't very big. {"God said" in a lot of places in scripture but as touching "In the beginning", being creation, read HERE, these scriptures are Jesus/Yeshua speaking in your Old Testament/Covenant (Torah)!}

Oh, you want to say the New Testament/Covenant is not of God? Well, let's check your scriptures and see if that's the case ...

Jer 31:31-33 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Psa 22:30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. {seed=Jesus/Yeshua; him=God the Father; a generation=30 AD - 70 AD, then destruction & dispersion. Jesus' death bought Israel another 40 years to repent of their idolatry, yet they did not acknowledge Him nor repent, which resulted in them being expelled from the land until their partial regathering (Judah first as the scriptures said) and declaration of statehood in 1947.}

His *NEW* covenant rests in the hearts of every believer in Yeshua/Jesus even to this day and until His return! You can be one of those of the New Covenant! You do not have to loose your Jewishness, although you will be rejected (as the Lord was) by your own family, rabbis, etc. But, is a personal relationship with the Living God of all creation worth it? I say He is!

Heb 12:24-27 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.  See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:  Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.  And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Will you be standing, unshaken, when Yeshua/Jesus returns?

I am not affiliated with this website in any way, but these guys *get it* and they can help you to *get it*, IF you are willing. IF you are seeking God, He CAN be found if you are seeking Him with your whole heart, soul, mind, and body!

http://www.oneforisrael.org/

READ, WATCH THE VIDEOS, ASK YOUR GOD (OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB) IF THE MESSIAH IS JESUS (YESHUA=SALVATION) ... Stop being led as a slave, like sheep to the slaughter. THE LAMB OF GOD WAS ALREADY SLAIN FOR ALL MANKIND as prophesied in Isaiah 53 & Psalm 22. GOD LOVES YOU! He wants you to know Him, and have a personal relationship with Him!

Think for yourselves, do your own research. Don't rely on your rabbis to tell you of the Messiah, for the most part they don't know Him ... WHY do you think Isaiah 53 is NEVER read in the synagogues??? Or, *if* it is read they tell you it's about Israel - WRONG!

Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Strong's concordance: H1248 >>> bar {Hebrew}; borrowed (as a title) from H1247; the heir (apparent to the throne):—son.

Mat 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. - Jesus/Yeshua {husbandmen=pharasees, saducees, scribes; son=Jesus/Yeshua}

Mar 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. {he=Son of man=Jesus/Yeshua, God in the flesh; rise again=resurrected (He is not here -in the grave- for He is risen), His physical body was resurrected=THE Firstfruits of a new creation.}

Mar 9:31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. {he/him=Son of man=Jesus/Yeshua=God in the flesh; rise on the third day=resurrection, Jesus/Yeshua is the Firstfruits of a new creation and indeed resurrected during the Feast of Firstfruits.}

Jhn 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. - Yeshua/Jesus {aleph/tav=the first & the last}

Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. - Yeshua/Jesus {aleph/tav=the first & the last}

Yeshua/Jesus is coming back soon ... BE YE READY!

MY PERSONAL TEMPER TANTRUM

I resemble these remarks ... not angry at God tho, I know why He's doing what He's doing. But I surely am becoming impatient and anxious for Him to return for me!

Maranatha Lord!

11/06/15 ~ Porters & Watchmen ...

Today's post is inspired by this article ...
http://www.charismanews.com/opinion/53032-george-o-wood-we-don-t-know-the-day-or-hour-but

There is a huge difference between a prophet & a porter/watcher, sometimes a person is both but they can be either/or. Many people that are showing warning signs today are not date setting, they are watching, as instructed. It would be irresponsible for watchers to not alert that this or that time could be *the time*. So much of the church is asleep with regard to the Lord's return.

Even Jesus said in Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? We will not know the day nor the hour that is true, but we will be able to tell the season by watching.

Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Mat 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Mar 13:33-37 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Eze 33:3-5 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

Eze 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Jonah is a prime example of a watchman (and in his case a prophet) going to a city/people to warn of God's impending judgment. Yet, they repented and God did not destroy them. Jonah was quite upset about it. There are instances where signs show impending doom but God stays His hand for the sake of the repentant of heart, and for those fervently praying for their nations. Even so, the prophesied judgment did happen years later. Not all warnings will bear fruit in the days thought, God is the God of grace after all. But that does not excuse the watchmen from not warning. Porters, man your stations!

If a person warns of the possibility of the Lord's return on one of the Hebrew Holy Days, and it does not come to pass that year they warned in ... it doesn't mean it won't come to pass in a successive year, as was the case with Jonah's warning, and with Jesus' warning. I believe, based on what the Hebrew Feast Days mean, that the Lord will return on one of them.

Jesus has fully fulfilled the first three Hebrew Feasts, which are the first three branches of the Menorah, with the Jews/Israel. We are now at the fourth branch of the Menorah - "the times of the Gentiles" - between Passover, from the counting of the Omer 50 days and the giving of the Holy Spirit to seal us to God, ending in what I believe to be a future resurrection day of the bride of Christ at an upcoming Shavu'ot (the least celebrated holy day for the Jews). In other words, it makes sense to me that since we are still in the "times of the Gentiles", the middle branch of the Menorah, that consummation will happen at the end thereof, 50 prophetic *days* after it started.

I don't have the exact math of how that 50 *days* plays out, or from what year to what year, but if I do figure that out I'll do a new post about it. One possibility is that if, as the Jews believe, 2015-2016 is a year of Jubilee (and btw, they expect their Messiah this year) then we could take either 2015 or 2016 and divide it by 50 (represents *days* of the counting of the Omer between Passover & Shavu'ot) and the result would be about 40 years. So 40 x 50 = 2,000 years, being 40 jubilee periods of 50 years each. It has been about 2015-2016 years since Jesus' birth. At any rate, I will really be keyed in on Shavu'ot from now on. I have written about that elsewhere so I'll not repeat here, scroll down for more of my thoughts on that timing.

Interestingly, Gen 6:3 which says, "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." can also be calculated the same way: 120 x 50 jubilees = 6,000 years ... coincidence? I think not.

Others think Jesus will return for His bride at the Feast of Tabernacles or the Day of Atonement (at-one-ment). I believe this will actually be for the Jews/Israel and not for the "times of the Gentiles" bride. Once this middle branch of the menorah is completed, I believe, God will once again turn His full attention back to Israel to complete the last three branches/feasts in rapid succession.

Rom 11:25-27 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

No *true* watchman/porter is prophesying a specific date. We are simply warning of a potential time and the reasons why it may be. None of us are claiming "thus sayeth the Lord" as is the case with the Lord's prophets. Even when prophets of old spoke, often times the thing spoken of didn't happen right away. Jesus prophesying of the temple's destruction is another example, that didn't occur until some 40 years after His death/resurrection.

If you were entering a building and a porter {watchman/doorkeeper} said to you, "There was a bomb threat on the building today." Would you enter? Don't diss the porters, take heed.

As for me, I will continue to watch ... and warn ... a porter at the door.

11/06/15 ~ WHO killed Jesus!?

So ... WHO killed Jesus!? That's the burning question! Some blame the Jews, some blame the Romans, because both were there and participated in His brutal beatings and subsequent death. But does the buck stop there? Was Jesus a *victim*?

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?  But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? - Jesus {Mat 26:53-54}

What scripture?

Isa 53:1-12 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. - Isaiah

Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. - Daniel

Did God turn His back on Jesus while He bore our sins on the cross?

Mar 15:34-37 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?  And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.  And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.  And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. - Mark/Jesus

NO! He was telling those that could hear that He was fulfilling Psalm 22 right before their eyes ...

Psa 22:1-31 [[To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.]] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?  O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.  But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.  Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.  They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.  But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.  All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],  He trusted on the LORD [that] he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.  But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts.  I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother's belly.  Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help.  Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round.  They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.  I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.  My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.  For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.  I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me.  They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.  But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.  Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.  Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.  I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.  Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.  For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.  My praise [shall be] of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.  All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.  For the kingdom [is] the LORD'S: and he [is] the governor among the nations.  All [they that be] fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.  A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.  They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [this]. - David

Was Jesus a *victim* or was He in complete control at all times? I believe He answers that ...

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.  As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheepAnd other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. - Jesus {Jhn 10:14-18}

If you believe the Jews, &/or the Romans, killed Jesus then you need to take a hard look in the mirror because ...

YOU KILLED HIM
I KILLED HIM
ALL MANKIND KILLED HIM

He bore our sins so that we could be freed from them if we so choose.

- Moses

I leave you with these scriptures to consider ...

Mar 10:32-34 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,  Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the GentilesAnd they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. - Mark/Jesus

Isa 45:21-23 Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me.  Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. - Isaiah

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. - Jesus {Jhn 5:39}

God's word, the Bible, is TRUE in it's entirety  ... it is Jesus in writing, just as Jesus is the Word made flesh!

Jhn 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. - John

Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. - John

10/29/15 ~ Traditions of men, verses Commandments of God ...

I've seen several articles on Facebook regarding whether or not Christians should participate in the *holiday* called Halloween. In response to this article ...

http://www.crosswalk.com/blogs/christian-trends/is-there-a-reasonable-middle-ground-for-christians-at-halloween.html

I wrote, "So now we're looking for "reasonable middle ground"? This is the path to apostasy. Once you are aware what the traditions of men stem from you should no longer follow as tho blind. NEVER seek *middle ground*, always seek Jesus & His will."

And this article http://www1.cbn.com/questions/should-christians-celebrate-halloween/ inspired me to write this blog post.

Here are more of my thoughts ...

* Compromising on the "traditions of men" is dangerous. Remember what Jesus said,

Mat 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Mar 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

* Consider this, would God or Jesus go trick or treating? Will that be something we'll be celebrating in the millennial kingdom?

2Co 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

* Come out of the world, satan's ways ...

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

I'm with the bible on this and that goes for Christmas & Easter. I think it's OK, for these two holidays, to have a nice turkey dinner and perhaps put up some lights for color and flare during an otherwise boring winter, but nothing to do with *santa* as that has nothing to do with Christ. We should not be celebrating Easter, it's not biblical, we should rather be celebrating the Hebrew Passover, which is all about Jesus.

The word *holiday* originates from the Hebrew words *Holy Days* in which in some form or other and mostly unknown to those that live in the land of Israel ... these days they celebrate are all about Jesus. These are the days we should celebrate, NOT the traditions of men.

That's my thoughts on the issue of pagan *holidays*. Once you know the origins of these *holidays* you are then responsible for your actions regarding them. I think the bible is pretty clear on the matter.

Finally, I am not against celebrating the fall harvest. Go ahead and display pumpkins (without the nasty teeth, etc), fall leaves & colors, and have a great fall harvest dinner. Remember to -give thanks- for His mercy endures forever!

God bless you in Jesus, thanks for reading ;o}

10/11/15 ~ Jesus said, "it is appointed unto men once to die"

If it's true for Jesus, that He die once for the sins of many; then it's true for all men {mankind} that we die once {and then the judgment} ...
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. {Heb 9:27-28 KJV}

Moses died and was buried ...
And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.  So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.  And he {the LORD} buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. {Deu 34:4-6 KJV}

Enoch was translated that he should "not see death" ...
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. {Heb 11:5 KJV}

Elijah didn't die, he was taken up to heaven in a chariot of fire ...
And it came to pass, as they {Elijah & Elisha} still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. {2Ki 2:11 KJV}

The sixth angel blows his trumpet and the second woe begins as the two witnesses arrive ...
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. {Rev 11:3-4 KJV, referring to Zec 4:11}

Why then do we see Moses & Elias {Elijah} talking with Jesus during His transfiguation? Because Moses represented "the law" and Elijah represented "the prophets" and this also refers to the "err" mentioned in Mar 12:27. However, Jesus clearly points out that Elijah already came in the person of John the Baptist, and Jesus was the 2nd witness that would be killed also. Both John & Jesus were a type of the end-time two witnesses as seen in Revelation. Also notice: 1) "after six days" likely represents after six millennia {6,000 years of man's rule}, and 2) Peter offers that they should make them {Moses, Elijah, and Jesus} "tabernacles", this is significant in telling us about timing in the last days ...
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.  Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.  And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.  And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.  And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.  And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.  And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.  But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.  Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. {Mat 17:1-13 KJV}

This just proves to us that Moses, and Elias, are alive in spirit in heaven, nothing more, nothing less. Jesus reminds us by these three witnesses that:

I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. {Mat 22:32 KJV}
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err. {Mar 12:27 KJV, referred to above.}
For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. {Luk 20:38 KJV}

Another thing of significance is that Jesus takes His *closest* followers and brings them "up into an high mountain apart". To me this signifies the resurrection of the saints. I don't believe we {the bride of Christ} will be here to see the two witnesses as I believe they will be a sign to Israel, who will despise them. I believe the Lord will take His bride out of the world first, then He'll turn His attention back to Israel for the final 3-1/2 years of human rule.

Of course, I could be *wrong*, it may be the church is here through the testimony of the two witnesses and after they are killed and dead for 3-1/2 days when they hear the great voice from heaven say, "Come up hither", that that occurs at the resurrection of the just {believers} and we're all taken up at the same time, perhaps they being the last two, or the first two to be resurrected. Time will tell ;o}

Revelation continues, Enoch & Elijah are the "two witnesses" ...
And when they {the two witnesses} shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city {Jerusalem}, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord {Jesus} was crucified.  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets {witnesses} tormented them that dwelt on the earth.  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.  The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. {Rev 11:7-14 KJV}

In closing, neither Enoch nor Elijah have died. It stands to reason that since the two witnesses are here for 1,260 days and both of them DIE at the end of that time and then after 3-1/2 days both of them stand upon their feet and are taken up to heaven that these are the two witnesses. Since these two have not died yet, they alone qualify.

Thanks for reading and may God richly bless you in Jesus' name ;o}

10/04/15 ~ Will there be *another temple* built?

{This post is inspired by someone on Facebook today that said the following: }

"For the false prophets who say there will be no coming temple in Jerusalem. Be reminded that the Apostle John discipled Bishop Polycarp who taught Bishop Irenaeus with this knowledge about the events in the book of Revelation.

Bishop Irenaeus (A.D. 180)Ante Nicene Fathers vol.1 Against Heresies book 5 ,chap 26, verse 1.
"and shall give their kingdom to the beast(Antichrist), and put the Church to flight."

Bishop Irenaeus (A.D. 180) Ante-Nicene Fathers vol.1 pg.560 book 5 chap 30 verse 4.
“But when this Antichrist shall have devastated all things in this world, he will reign for three years and six months, and sit in the temple at Jerusalem”"

{Firstly, he calls people that don't believe as he does "false prophets". I take exception to that and this was my reply to his post: }

Name calling should be beneath you. Lots of us have different opinions/understanding as to how things are going to happen, NO ONE knows for sure. We'll all find out when said things happen and Jesus returns. In the meantime be at peace one with another.

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. {Zec 6:12-13 KJV}

From this I understand it to say that the temple will be built by the LORD at His return.

Other places in scripture (quoted below) say that we believers ARE the temple, therefore there is no need of another. He IS building His temple and has been for almost 2,000 years. There will not be any need for animal sacrifices once the LORD returns. In the meantime, He has many in willing subjection now for which He rules & reigns in their hearts.
{In fact, there has been NO NEED of animal/blood sacrifices since His death}.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

I really don't think these types of things are an issue that should divide us, resulting in name calling when others disagree with someone's point of view. None of us has it all right and none of us knows for sure how things will unfold until they've done so and we see it in hindsight. My parting comment, pray for one another. God bless you in Jesus.

If God were using these TETRADs/Blood Moons as a warning to any nation, let alone Israel, surely they would have been visible to that/those nation(s); and surely they would have happened BEFORE the events, not after??? Because said occurrences (that are said to relate to these TETRADs) happen -BEFORE- said TETRADs I feel there is no special significance. The order of most of these are: 1) event happens, then 2) TETRAD *AFTER*.

If the TETRADs happened -BEFORE- said events or during said events then I'd think there was something special going on ... BUT, only if the full lunar eclipse/blood moon was seen in the nation affected! Also, many of these blood moons, which are actually full lunar eclipses, did not show themselves to Israel at all so to relate the *AFTER* TETRADs to Israel when they didn't even see most of the blood moon/full lunar eclipses is not reasonable IMHO.

As for the 2014-2015, for which the final of the 4 Blood Moons occurs tonight, nothing happened beforehand and nothing happened during. If they are a harbinger for Israel, who will see this one in partiality, that is yet to be determined. No event happened -BEFORE- this TETRAD, we'll see if anything happens *AFTER*. The 2014-2015 TETRAD is the ONLY one that may qualify as a future warning since nothing significant happened before then we look to see what it's warning of after.

All the same, tis a kewl occurrence ;o}

Here's NASA's link to five millennium of Lunar Eclipses, including TETRADs.

09/02/15 No man knows the day or hour ...

Do you believe that scripture says that He is coming when you least expect it? and that we cannot know when that will be? and that anyone giving warnings in this day and age are nothing but *false teachers*? We are told to: 1) watch, so that that time does not overtake us, and 2) the scripture regarding the "thief in the night" is speaking of UN-believers, not believers. Mat 24 & 25, Mar 13, Luk 17 & 21, 1Th 4 & 5, much of Rev as well as many other passages, speak quite clearly about when He will return, and the signs thereof.

--> These speak of what "hour" &/or "day", it does not say we won't know the month, season, or year ...
Mat 24:36 "But of >>>that day and hour<<< knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."
Mat 24:42 "Watch therefore: for ye know not what >>>hour<<< your Lord doth come."
Mat 25:13 "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the >>>day nor the hour<<< wherein the Son of man cometh."

--> These speak of those that are NOT watching for His return ...
Mat 24:48-51 "But and if that >>>evil servant<<< shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;  And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;  The lord of >>>that servant<<< shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,  And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Rev 3:3 "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt >>>not watch<<<, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what >>>hour<<< I will come upon thee."
Rev 16:15 "Behold, I come as a thief. >>>Blessed is he that watcheth<<<, and keepeth his garments, >>>lest<<< he walk naked, and they see his shame.

--> As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be when the Lord returns.
Mat 24:37 "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
Luk 17:26-27 "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all."

What was it like in the days of Noah? Did the Lord give Noah any notice? Yes! He did ...
Gen 7:4 "For yet >>>seven days<<<, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
Gen 7:10 "And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth."
Gen 7:16 "And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in."

--> As it was in the days of Lot, so it will be when the Lord returns.
Luk 17:28-30 "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

Was Lot notified before Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed? Well, yes, he was ...
Gen 19:1 "And there came two angels to Sodom >>>at even<<<; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; ...
Gen 19:12-13 "And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:  For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it."
Gen 19:16-17  "And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.  And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed."
Gen 19:20-22 "Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.  And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.  Haste thee, escape thither; >>>for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither<<<. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar."
Gen 19:23-25 ">>>The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar<<<.  Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;  And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."

I think we CAN know: anytime from a year, a season, a month and possibly even a week in advance; we will know by the *signs* ...

Mar 13:35-37 "Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:  Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." - Jesus {at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing (dawn), or in the morning ... all parts of >>>a day<<<}

08/08/15 The 10 Commandments, especially the Sabbath day ...

I don't believe the Lord did away with the basic 10 commandments ... He did away with the 613 Mosaic laws but not the 10 commandments. We're still suppose to NOT kill, steal, covet, etc, all written on the hearts of believers.

The one commandment of the 10 most choose to believe has been abolished is the Sabbath for which we should "remember" it and "keep it holy". I don't believe that means to do this is a ritual or religious way but to keep it as we try to keep "thou shalt not kill" or "thou shalt not steal". It is the Lord's day, a day He thought enough of to take it for His day of rest after 6 days of creating. The Sabbath is a particular day of the week, and it's not Sunday. Further, it's from sundown to sundown (Fri eve to Sat eve). NO I am NOT SDA or any other offshoot of such. I just believe we are to keep ALL 10 of the commandments, NOT just nine of them. I believe, the others from Acts 15 (not to fornicate, don't eat things offered to idols, etc) were an *in addition to* not a replacement of the 10.

If you can justify not obeying the Sabbath (as being the 7th day of the week) then you have to likewise justify murder, stealing, etc. You CANNOT separate out that one and say you *try* to keep them all. Again, I do NOT advocate ritualistic or religious keeping of the Sabbath, if you can't do it from your heart to honor the Lord then don't do it at all, but then ... that goes for the other nine as well doesn't it. Jesus summed up the first four commandments as loving God, and the last six as loving your neighbor as yourself. He never did away with any of those 10 commandments, they are the basis for our living. The 7th-day Sabbath commandment is significant and points us to the upcoming millennial reign of Christ where there will be rest and peace on earth.

Jesus never did away with the Sabbath, He kept it & honored it from His heart because it was on THAT DAY that HE rested from creating.

I hope this has blessed you, thanks for reading!

07/15/15 ... Come out of her my people!

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." {Rev 18:4}

As I lay in bed with just a few hours sleep between last night and tonight (it's currently 2:12 AM) I am thinking about my brethren in Christ and the hardships some of you may be going through. This post, I hope, will bring you to some stark realizations that I have already come to discover in my walk with the Lord.

As you all know, we are born and raised into this world, and thus it's ways. The world's ways are NOT God's ways as we are taught here "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."

God allows hardships & testing (or tribulation) to come into our lives when we are rooted in this world's ways and not relying solely on Him. He will take away the things that mean the most in your life if you don't get a grasp on this truth ... "But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows." {Luk 12:7} He also allows troubles as a means of building your testimony to Him and how wondrously He works in your life. Remember Job.

Now, although this scripture is addressed to "Babylon", there is truth to it for every individual believer: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." {Jer 29:11-13}

We must learn to seek the Lord, all the more passionately during times of hardship. So, here's my advice on how to "come out of her" - "her" being the world system:

1) Work to pay off any debts you owe. The way to do this is to pay the minimum due on all bills except one. That one go after with every spare penny you can give. For instance, rather than going out for dinner put that money towards that one bill besides the minimum, always pay the minimum on all bills but that one you are going after in pit-bull fashion. Debt is an addiction of sorts, and it's one thing God does not want His people enslaved to. Like all addictions, it's easy to get into but not so easy to get out of. You have to work hard at it, with the Lord's help. Most importantly, CUT UP all credit cards, they are a trap to enslave you. Do not charge any more to a future payment you cannot even guarantee you can pay. If you can't afford to pay cash then you don't need it. Concentrate on paying off your debt, your regular monthly bills such as power, phone, etc, and feeding yourself ... ALL spending should go towards these necessities and paying off your debts. Don't be enslaved into this society, remember: "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." {Pro 22:7} Once you have that one paid off, go to the next one and put all you were putting from the first and all you can spare for that second one and pay it off, then move on to the next.

2) Cut down on all non-essentials. For instance, cancel your cable TV or internet for a short time. Be willing to give up things that you don't really need. For news, listen to the radio, it's free and most places get some sort of signal. For internet access (to get your emails at least) go to the local library. Take yourself, willingly, out of your comfort zone. Do without the non-essentials for a time, especially where you can save money and put those savings towards 1) above. Trust in this: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." {Phl 4:19} Notice, it says NEEDS, not *wants*.

3) Downsize! If you don't need it as a matter of life & death, consider getting rid of it. It may be that the value in dollars will help you more toward getting out of debt than having it hang in your closet or being otherwise there in your life but unused. If you aren't actually using it then you can afford to get rid of it. For instance, if you have two vehicles and can do with one then sell the other to help get some money to put towards 1). Remember, the less you have in this world the less you will be attached to. Think on this: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." {Rom 12:2}

4) Don't look to other people to solve your problems: "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." {Psa 118:8} Earnestly seek the Lord in all matters of your life from your finances to the food on your table and the roof over your head. Allow Him to BE God, He will work miracles in your life IF you submit to Him and trust Him 100%. This may including giving up those things in the world that you love the most ... willingly ... should He ask it of you. Remember Abraham's willingness to give up his beloved only son. You may loose everything, but if this happens it will be for your good, even though it doesn't seem so at the time.

5) Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding. As this scripture says, "Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed." {Psa 37:3} Ask of the Lord, He will provide in ways you can't even fathom! "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." {Pro 3:5-6}

6) Give of yourself to others without expectation of reward. God loves a cheerful giver. "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." {2Co 9:7} He also expects us, when we are able, to take care of the widows and orphans. The Lord instructed us: "But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:  And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just." {Luk 14:13-14} Look for ways to bless the needy and God will richly bless you. When you help others less fortunate than yourself God promises to bless you more than you can imagine. "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." {Mal 3:10}

7) Don't worry about tomorrow and it's troubles, sufficient the day the trouble therein. "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." {Mat 6:34} And besides that, you can't add a day to your life by worrying anyway. "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? {Mat 6:26-27} Worry is not of God, but is of satan. The devil is trying to shake your very foundations so that, as Eve did in the garden of Eden, you will loose trust in God and turn to the world's ways to solve your problems. If you are fearful consider that the bible tells us that fear is NOT of the Lord. Trials and tribulations come to believers so that the Lord can get you to this place: "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe." {Pro 29:25} I remind you also of these scriptures, if fear is not of God then there's only one other option - the devil. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." {1Jo 4:18} And, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." {2Ti 1:7}

I am not just blowing smoke, I know full well what hardship is ... but more importantly I understand WHY it happens ... and that is to prepare you to rely on Him alone. A time of severe testing is coming upon this world, and if you aren't looking solely to Him for your sustenance, you will be sorely affected. "Come out of her my people" ... be prepared to walk away from it ALL and not look back. Remember Lot's wife.

Paul's testimony puts it like this: "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." {Phl 4:11} Do whatever you have to do, give up whatever you have to give up to get to this place of peace in the Lord, and trust Him alone to provide all your needs.

Here is truth for those walking with the Lord on the narrow way ... "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." {Psa 37:25}

Thanks for reading. God bless you in Jesus ;o}

06/01/15 ~ HELL

It would be nice, and convenient, if hell didn't exist. Then people wouldn't have to worry about what happens when they reject a Holy God in favor of a -god- made of their own imagination {IDOLatry}. The KJV bible uses the word "hell" 54 times and Jesus Himself gave us plenty of scriptures to chew on about the subject.

Hell is a place where God is not. Not choosing God {through His Only Begotten Son ... Jesus} is choosing eternity without Him, thus hell - separation from God and everything good. God is a perfect gentleman and will give you your desire to be separate from Him for all eternity, if that is what you choose. Life is about choices ... choose life. As Moses so astutely put it ...

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." {Deu 30:19-20 KJV}

Don't believe something just because you find others that agree with *your theology* (wishful thinking) ... rather, study it out for yourselves, from God's word. Remember, Jesus is God made flesh ... God came into His creation as One of us. Jesus is the Word made flesh Who dwelt among us. His Word (the Bible) is truth. Jhn 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Here's a biblical study on the subject ...
